How to judge your facial shape?

The facial shape usually can be divided into six parts: oval, round, square, oblong, heart, and diamond shape. To figure out what face shape you have, there are two steps you need to do: one is that measure the key distances, and the other is that use the information I give you to judge your facial shape.
 

Step 1: Measure the four key distances

In order to get the most accurate consequence, you can use a flexible measuring tape to measure the four key distances on your face.
 

1. Forehead width: Measure the distance between eyebrow peaks on both sides.

2. Cheekbone width: Measure the distance between the highest positions on both sides of the cheeks.

3. Jawline width: Find the point behind your ear where your plus is throbbing, and the tip of your chin, then measure the distance between them and multiply by 2.

4. Face length: From your hairline in the center of your forehead down the middle of your face to the tip of your chin.
 

Step 2: Use the following information to determine your facial shape

Since you have measured the four key distances, now you can use the following information to judge your facial shape.
 

Oval shape: the forehead is slightly wider than the chin, the cheekbone width is smaller than the face length, and the rounded jawline.
 

Round shape: the forehead width is equal to the cheekbone width, and your jawline and chin are soft and rounded.
 

Square shape: the width of the jawline is equivalent to the forehead width, and the jawline is square and strong.
 

Oblong shape: the face length is much longer than its width, a very narrow width.
 

Heart shape: the jawline width is smaller than the forehead, the cheekbone width is the same as the forehead, and the width of forehead and cheekbone are wider than the jawline.
 

Diamond shape: the cheekbone width is wider than the forehead, and the narrowed hairline and pointy chin.
